Inside Sales Manager

DecksDirect is looking for an energetic and motivated Sales Manager to lead our retail direct to consumer channel.  The Sales Manager will lead, manage and be accountable for all aspects of the Customer Experience department, including our sales process, performance and staff development.  The Sales Manager will be an active participant on the executive leadership team responsible for steering company strategy and execution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead with passion and be a champion of the DecksDirect core values and vision
  • Develop, refine and implement processes that span the sales cycle: from identification and qualification of opportunities, pipeline management, cultivation of relationships, formulation of solutions, development of proposals and closing of opportunities
  • Coach, motivate and hold a team of direct reports accountable to the company's sales process
  • Recruit, hire, train and develop all Customer Experience staff in the skills necessary to achieve strategic goals in accordance with DecksDirect core values and purpose
  • Managing the day-to-day needs of the Customer Experience department
  • Manage and develop key performance metrics and weekly scorecards
  • Work collaboratively with customers, channel partners and team members to meet business goals and objectives
  • Continually develop and implement innovative ideas for system improvements that focus on better serving our customers

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher level of education
  • At least five years of customer experience and sales environment experience
  • At least three years of leadership experience
  • Excellent technology and analytical skills
  • Must demonstrate the ability to assess situations and quickly provide solutions
  • NetSuite ERP, Magento ECommerce platform or similar experience strongly preferred

Position Details:

  • Full-time position
  • Internal position (not remote)
  • Travel is extremely minimal but required (1-2 times per year)
  • Salary is negotiable, commensurate with experience
